Please note: We are not VAT registered and therefore do not charge VAT on our fees. Disbursements (e.g. probate registry fees) may still include VAT where applicable.

Disbursements (Estimated)

  • Probate application fee: £273

  • Sealed copies: £1.50 each

  • Bankruptcy check: £2 per beneficiary

  • London Gazette notice: £200

  • Local newspaper notice: £150

  • Land Registry Search: £3

Disbursements are costs paid to third parties and may include VAT depending on the provider. These are not included in our fees.


What’s Not Included

  • Sale or transfer of property

  • Dealing with complex shareholdings

  • Filing tax returns on behalf of the estate

  • Legal disputes between beneficiaries

Day-to-day work may be carried out by other members of our legal support team, such as paralegals or trainee solicitors, under her direct supervision. You will always be informed of who is dealing with your case, and Taranjit will remain ultimately responsible for your file.
