Our Fees
Note: We are not VAT registered and therefore do not charge VAT on our legal fees. Disbursements such as court fees are payable separately.
Fixed Fee Divorce (Uncontested)

Hourly Rate – Complex or Disputed Matters
For more complex or disputed matters (e.g. financial disclosures, contested custody, injunctions, child arrangements), we charge an hourly rate:
- Grade A Solicitor : £312 per hour
- Support staff (if assisting): £150 – £200 per hour
We will provide an estimate of likely costs at the outset and update you regularly. Payment plans may be available for certain matters.
Timescales
- Uncontested divorce: 6–8 months (depending on court processing)
- Financial consent orders: 4–12 weeks (after agreement reached)
- Contested matters: 6–18 months depending on complexity
Supervision and Who Will Handle Your Matter
Taranjit Kaur – Principal Solicitor
Taranjit is the founder and principal solicitor of the firm, with over 16 years of experience in legal practice and supervises all matters handled by the team.
Day-to-day work may be carried out by other members of our legal support team, such as paralegals or trainee solicitors, under her direct supervision. You will always be informed of who is dealing with your case, and Taranjit will remain ultimately responsible for your file.
