Our Fees

Note: We are not VAT registered and therefore do not charge VAT on our legal fees. Disbursements (e.g. court fees) may still be subject to VAT.

Fixed Fee for Uncontested Claims (Debt up to £100,000)

These fees apply to uncontested claims where no enforcement action or court hearing is required. If the debtor disputes the claim, we will advise you of next steps and costs involved.

Additional Costs (If Required)

  • Tracing agent fees: approx. £75–£150  (vary case to case- will quote in advance)
  • Bailiff / High Court Enforcement Officer: approx. £300–£500 (vary case to case- will quote in advance)
  • Winding-up petition or statutory demand: from £600+ (vary case to case- will quote in advance)
  • Barrister’s fees (for hearings, if required): will be quoted in advance

Timescales

  • Pre-action letter: 7–14 days for response
  • Court proceedings: typically 6–12 weeks (if uncontested)
  • Enforcement actions: vary based on method and court availability

Taranjit is the founder and principal solicitor of the firm, with over 16 years of experience in legal practice and supervises all matters handled by the team.

Day-to-day work may be carried out by other members of our legal support team, such as paralegals or trainee solicitors, under her direct supervision. You will always be informed of who is dealing with your case, and Taranjit will remain ultimately responsible for your file.
