Complaints Procedure

At Link Solicitors, we are committed to providing high-quality legal services. However, if something goes wrong, we want you to tell us so we can address the issue and improve our service.

This page explains how you can raise a complaint and what steps we will take to resolve it.
If your concern relates to serious
professional misconduct or regulatory issues (such as dishonesty,
discrimination, or misuse of client funds), you can report this directly to the
Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).

What happens next?

1. Acknowledgement: We will acknowledge your complaint in writing within 3 working days of receiving it.

2. Investigation: Your complaint will be thoroughly investigated by a Director who was not directly involved in the matter.

3. Response: We aim to provide a full written response within 28 days. If the matter is complex and requires more time, we will keep you informed of the progress and expected timelines.

4. Resolution: We will outline our findings and, where appropriate, suggest steps to resolve your complaint.

What if you are not satisfied?

If you are not satisfied with our final
response, or if we do not resolve your complaint within 8 weeks, you may refer
the matter to the Legal Ombudsman, who can independently investigate complaints
about solicitors.
