Our Fees

Note: We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged on our legal fees. Third-party disbursements (such as court fees or expert reports) are payable separately.

Hourly Rates – Ongoing Dispute Resolution

  • Grade A Solicitor: £312 per hour
  • Paralegal or Trainee (under supervision): £150 – £200 per hour

We provide a cost estimate at the outset and keep you informed of progress and costs throughout your case. We also offer capped or staged fee arrangements where appropriate.

Typical Disbursements

  • Court issue fees (will confirm in advance)
  • Expert reports (if required): £250 – £1,000+
  • Barrister’s fees for advocacy (if required): quoted in advance

Timescales

  • Pre-action negotiations: typically 2–8 weeks
  • Small claims court cases: 4–9 months
  • Multi-track trials: up to 12–18 months

Supervision and Who Will Handle Your Matter

Taranjit is the founder and principal solicitor of the firm, with over 16 years of experience in legal practice and supervises all matters handled by the team.

Day-to-day work may be carried out by other members of our legal support team, such as paralegals or trainee solicitors, under her direct supervision. You will always be informed of who is dealing with your case, and Taranjit will remain ultimately responsible for your file.
