Note: We are not VAT registered and therefore do not charge VAT on our legal fees. Disbursements (e.g. Land Registry or HMRC fees) may still apply.

These fees are for standard, uncontested lease transactions with no complex issues. If additional work is required (e.g. dealing with guarantors, extensive negotiation, or multi-unit leases), we will provide you with a revised estimate or hourly rate quote.
Additional Costs (If Applicable)
- HM Land Registry fees based on lease value
- Search fees (if required by tenant)
- Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT), depending on lease terms
Timescales
- Standard lease: 2–4 weeks (from receipt of draft lease and client instructions)
- Licence to assign/alter: 1–2 weeks
- Complex leases: may take longer depending on negotiation and third-party delays
